Highly variable. Once this animal was divided into two sub- species, Lampropeltis mexicana blairi and Lampropeltis mexicana alterna because they are so variable until someone caught a gravid female that produced both morphs. Average thirty to forty inches as adults. Very tame.

Brown and Yellow Banded- Dark Brown and light yellow banded.

Fifty-fifty jet black and clear white banded.

The goal is to produce a solid yellow snake, we are about seventy percent of the way there.

Solid white with pink eyes.

Non- locality. Jet black with white bands. Average four to five feet as adults.

Jet black and crystal clear white bands. Average four to five feet as adults.

Jet black head and neck band with yellow and black banding.

Jet glossy black. Tame. Average three to four feet as adults.
