Florida Gulf Coast Box Turtle

Largest and most aquatic of the North American Box Turtles. Very rare in captivity in its pure form. Carapace is dark brown to black. Older males often have a white chin or face. Very sociable and friendly. Can be kept on moist substrate with a shallow wading area.
